The Sierra Nevada del Cocuy is a national park full of snow-peaked mountains, lagoons, and páramo regions. This Colombian Andean region is full of waterfalls, glacial mountain peaks and is home to Andean bears, Paramo deers, and unique mountain monkeys. The new basic one-color pillows come in a raised texture adding softness and elegance to a simple design. Available in six color-ways: Sage Green, Olive Green, Earth Brown, Sunrise Pink, Terracotta Red, and Lagoon Blue, each earth tone is an ideal piece to pair with other existing textiles to create a versatile space.

Meet the maker Zuahaza

A group of women artisans in the rural village of Charalá masterfully handcraft Zuahaza's organic home decor. Nestled in Colombia’s Andes mountains, these artisans hand spin, dye, weave, and sew each Zuahaza product. They construct each piece from organic cotton sourced from Peru, natural dyes, and biodegradable materials. Their production techniques also utilize water-saving and minimal waste principles. Founder and head designer Tatiana Ordoñez’s Colombian roots inspire her designs through the traditional art forms and artisan techniques that each Zuahaza piece of organic home decor celebrates. All of Zuahaza’s women artisans receive fair, equal living wages and earn nearly double Colombia’s minimum wage.
