The Palma Collection features handmade structured baskets made out of dried and woven palm fronds. Handles are woven into the basket and wrap around the perimeter. The structured shape and flat bottom allow them to sit upright when not being held. The smallest (chiquitita) size is ideal for a young child to use as a charming purse or can function as a petite bag to carry a phone, keys, and wallet conveniently.

*Please be gentle with your new bag. Be sure not to put sharp things in them that might poke through the basket and avoid creasing or folding the bag in a way that might damage the fibers. These bags are strong and durable but should be treated more gently than a leather or canvas bag

A blend of Californian style and Mexican heritage makes Caminito’s incredible line of blankets and accessories what it is. California-based Mother and daughter team, Elizabeth and Liz, who themselves are Mexican, collaborate with traditionally trained weavers in central Mexico to create Caminito’s traditional Mexican blankets with modern vibrant colors. Caminito's handmade blankets consist of upcycled yarn derived from remnants from the clothing manufacturing process. Each Caminito blanket is handwoven in Central Mexico. Caminito's baskets are handwoven with biodegradable, naturally dried palm leaves. Caminito is a women-owned company and all makers and artisans receive fair wages and work in clean, safe work environments.
