Every basket, blanket, table linen, towel, scarf, and fair trade decor piece Creative Women produces is entirely handcrafted by women artisans in Burundi, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Morocco, Tunisia, and Zambia. Locally grown natural fibers native to each product’s region of origin are then handspun and handwoven by women artisans. They use traditional heritage artforms to create a wide array of stunning fair trade decor from textiles to baskets. Creative Women works with fair trade suppliers throughout their supply chain. Their sustainably-sourced leather featured in their products only uses AZO-free dyes when coloring and finishing products. Creative Women is a women-owned brand, and is Fair Trade verified by Fair Trade Federation. They pay fair wages to all their female artisans while providing safe, healthy working conditions.
