Meet the maker Emeco
Meet the maker Emeco
You likely won’t find another sustainable furniture company more innovative than Emeco. Made in Hanover, Pennsylvania, Emeco creates elegant and extremely durable sustainable furniture, often by hand. Their pieces consist of waste materials designed in the most intelligent, earth-friendly ways possible. Tasked with creating a highly functional and lightweight recycled aluminum chair for Navy warships in 1944, the Navy Chair is still sold to this day — over 75 years later. Collaborating with designers around the world, Emeco has cultivated a robust catalog of high-design stools, tables, and chairs. Each consists of reclaimed and recycled materials including cork, wood, eco-concrete, plastic bottles, and endlessly recyclable aluminum. Designed and crafted with intention, each product passes commercial-grade standards to ensure its beauty and durability.
