Named after the ancient city of Carthage that once served as a connecting point of Mediterranean trade, the Carthage.Co mission is to bring the beauty of North African stoneware to tables around the world by providing a valuable connection between the artisans in Tunisia who are preserving this heritage craft, and the families who use their products. They produce their line of stoneware dinnerware, bakeware, and drinkware using 2000-year-old processes developed in the Mediterranean region. In doing so, local artisans become empowered to continue this heritage craft while using locally sourced, natural ingredients. Carthage.Co builds meaningful relationships with their artisans. Founded on the principles of dignity and respect, artisans receive both economic and educational opportunities through their partnership. Their ethically sourced stoneware dinnerware bears the unique qualities of the handcrafted process.
